MumBond - Autonomous Bus Concept

Entry for the "Michelin Design Challenge 2019" www.michelinchallengedesign.com .
The theme consisted in relating one of the following emotional needs: joy, trust, security or freedom with one of the following megacities: Berlin, Mumbai, New York, Sao Paulo or Shanghai, with the year 2035 in mind.

With more than 12 million inhabitants, "Mumbai" is the most populated city in India and the 8th largest in the world. It's also the 5th densiest and one of the most noisiest and polluted, so it's required to improve the quality of life and promoting personal private space. The city is evolving towards a more sustainable way, and with required adjustments the peripheral roads will uncrowd and can be converted into safe roads for self driving autonomous public service. "MumBond" is that kind of transport, a "trust" worthy vehicle for relaxing while you're travelling from your town to city. A vehicle designed not only to transport yourself, but to offer you a time for rest and take a break.
